Mindfulness is defined by Oxford Languages as; 1.) The quality or state of being conscious or aware of something. 2.) A mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while
calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily
sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.

Both of these definitions are related to each other. You must be conscious and/or aware of mindfulness to achieve the awareness of present moments which equals mindfulness.
Psychology is defined by Oxford Languages as;
The scientific study of the human mind and its functions, especially those affecting behavior in a given context.

So, now it’s time to bring these definitions together. The topic “The Psychology of Mindfulness” is essentially and simply the study of the human mind and mindfulness in its entirety.
